Climate Change Leadership, a CEFO PhD course

Apply by July 31st by sending an application to

Mitigation causes and effects of climate change is a profound societal challenge that calls for entirely new ways of doing and thinking science. The rapid social transitions and systems transformations required to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement also calls for new conceptual thinking about leadership, organisation, systems and politics. Climate Change Leadership is an emerging research field spanning from systems theory and related socio-technical regime theory to governance and political theory. The PhD Course is a means to bridge separate discourses and debates within climate change leadership for the benefit of PhD students writing on climate change and mitigation, energy systems, or for those who are interested in broadening their studies in this field.
